Elena Votsi is a Greek designer, internationally renowned for her bold designs and for her superbly crafted, dazzling pieces of jewellery. Born in the island of Hydra, she has been an inspiration to many, for her excellency and achievements. She was selected to design the 2004 Olympic Games Medals and more recently the Medals of the Rio Summer Olympic Games 2016 in Brazil. Celebrities who are fans of her work and have worn her designs include Lady Gaga, Katharine Zeta Jones, Oprah Winfrey, Valentino and Jean-Paul Gaultier amongst others. Her work has featured in major fashion shows in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, London and South Korea. Alongside her jewellery collections, she has created a series of Porcelain Plates inspired by the Greek Summer and more specifically by her birthplace, the picturesque island of Hydra.
