The evil eye symbol, "Mati" in Greek, is considered to have the power to protect from negative energy, misfortune and envy.

This collection's jewellery is inspired by the intricate details of Greek costumes worn during the "1821 Greek War of Independence" era. The designer studies historical testimonies, folklore and representative paintings that depict scenes of life as it was in Greece 200 years ago. The artist pays tribute to the heroines of everyday life, in fact her collection "Laskarina" is named after Laskarina Bouboulina, the brave naval commander and first woman admiral, heroine of the Greek War of Independence in 1821.
