Hand Embroidered Rabbit, Easter Candle

In Greece, Orthodox Christians, carry ornately decorated candles to church (called Lampades) on Holy Saturday in celebration of the Resurrection of Christ. Every godparent traditionally gives their godchild an Easter lampada, every year. This red lampada is decorated with a hand emroidered, hand stiched cute rabbit and a tulle pon pon. Two colours to choose from, pink and turquoise. Glass bead details, hanging loop, filled with polyfil. The bunny is 15cm high and 10cm wide and can add a lovely decorative touch to your home.
