These knitted farm animals are totaly knitted and assembled by hand by the women on Hydra island. While the picturesque and historic tiny Greek island may be packed with tourists in summer, it is serene and quiet in winter. It is this time of the year that the local women gather by the fireplace relaxing and chatting while knitting childrens' toys. This happy striped cat with the long tail can make a wonderful friend even for babies because it has no small parts. It is filled with hypoallergenic polyfil and carries lots of love vibes.
